Initial meeting (as required) - $70.00
Our initial meeting is an opportunity for you to decide whether I am the right person to support you during this very special event. I am happy to respond to any questions you might have about my background and qualifications and can provide references from past clients. At the first meeting it is often helpful to go through the specific details of my birth support service and what your needs and expectations might be of me. This is also a good time to talk about your aspirations for the birth and what preparations you could undertake to ensure that your capacity to birth well is supported.
Birth Package - $800.00 ($300 at the Birth plan meeting, balance at the postnatal meeting)
This includes access to videos, books and relaxation CDs during pregnancy; telephone and email support during pregnancy; a meeting to discuss your preferences for birth and practice labour management strategies; a 14 day, 24 hours a day on call period before your due date; full support during your labour and birth and a postnatal visit.
Additional appointments - $90 per hour
These appointments take place in your own home and can take any focus you wish. We could do some prenatal education work, detailed birth planning, previous birth debriefing, birth rehearsal work…we can focus upon whatever is a priority for you at the time.
If you plan to attend the Weekly Stretch and Relax Class or Active Birthing Workshop, we may only need to meet once pre-natally to discuss your birth plans.
